About SOAF
The Swedish Operations Research Society (SOAF) is a non-profit organization founded in 1959 with the purpose of promoting the development of the various branches of operations research and encouraging its application across different problem areas. Today, SOAF has 110 members, most of whom belong to one of our 21 corporate member organizations.
As a member of SOAF, you can meet people interested in operations research at our annual meeting, at gatherings organized by our special interest groups, or at our conference, which is held every other year. Twice a year, you will receive the journal ORbit. On our website, you can read more about the association’s activities, what operations research is, and how to become a member.
NORM 2026
This autumn, SOAF is organizing the Nordic Operations Research Meeting together with the operations research societies of Denmark, Finland, and Norway. More information is available here: NORM2026.
